January 2007 – August 2008

As part of the Autodesk Technical Marketing team, I created content for trade shows (Siggraph, Game Developer Conference, and the National Association of Broadcasters show where the major ones) and for other marketing purposes.

This was an opportunity to create content at a higher quality than what was required for training, and it was really a time where I learned a lot about other products and the industry as a whole.

In this page I list a sample of the things I’ve done, with just a brief explanation as they were all short term projects.
Other projects used only 3rd parties’ material and are not shown here.

 

3D Animated Charts

Using Maxscript and OLE to connect to Excel, grab data, and provide high quality, animated charts.

 

Transformer Helicopter

Detailed helicopter model with fully rigged mechanical parts and realistic landing platform.

 

Futuristic Motorcycle

A rigged model of a rear-steering motorcycle.

 

Game Subway Car

A rigged, normal mapped, low poly model of a subway car using the viewport DX shaders.
